APPLETREE RESIDENTIAL, TONYPANDY

The project involves the design and construction of 14 flats comprising 12 no. one-bedroom flats and 2 no. two-bedroom flats together with site preparation works, external works and drainage. The proposed development will be split into two areas. A northern block will comprise four two-storey buildings, with one flat per floor, each flat having its own access The southern block will comprise three linked two-storey buildings with an L-shaped layout, with one one-bed flat per floor, each with its own access.

The new flats will meet Welsh Government Design Quality Requirements and Lifetime Homes Standards and will be constructed to achieve Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3+.

The existing rundown flats at Appletree Avenue were demolished to make way for this new development which will provide new, high-quality homes to meet the demand of affordable housing in the area.
