HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS SWINDON

The redevelopment of the Holiday Inn Express Swindon includes the alteration, extension and adaptation to the existing hotel and unused building areas to form a new 73-bed IBIS Budget Hotel and to extend the existing Holiday Inn Express Hotel by 27 bedrooms. Works also include the refurbishment of the existing 134 bedrooms. Expansion of the hotel facilities will be via the creation of an intermediate floor between the existing ground and first floor levels, increasing front and back of house areas.

The current common facilities located on the second floor will be relocated to the new ‘Upper Ground Floor’ which will accommodate the principle hotel lounge, bar, dining and conference facilities, which will be served by a main access stair opposite the existing Holiday Inn
entrance via Bridge Street. Other elements include shell and core Gymnasium and Coffee shop to the ground floor and new car park. The hotel will remain in operation throughout the duration of the works.
