WRW are proud to see four of our Construction Managers shortlisted for the Construction Manager of the Year Awards 2017.
The CMYA assess the pivotal role that construction managers play in bringing teams and stakeholders together, creating safe, efficient, productive and harmonious sites. Judged by industry, the awards have been celebrating career defining achievements for over three decades. The 2017 medal winners and Construction Manager of the Year will therefore join a long and distinguished roll of previous winners.
Mike O’Leary, Ceri Prosser, Mark Stevens and Christopher James have been selected as Award Category Finalists after fighting off competition from 1000’s of entries.
After a successful application they proceeded to a stringent judging process where they were each visited on site by a panel of experts who examined both the quality of the completed building and how the project manager dealt with the unique challenges of the location. An in-depth interview completed the judging process, marking each project against a broad range of criteria.
The guys are now in with a chance of winning a silver or gold medal or overall winner which will be announced at an awards ceremony on 27th September.
Not only is this a significant achievement for Mike, Ceri, Mark and Christopher as individuals, it also brings industry-wide recognition for WRW for construction management of the highest standard.
Operations Director, Stuart Brown said: “I’m delighted that our Construction Managers have received industry wide recognition from the CIOB for their efforts in delivering theses challenging projects. This achievement further demonstrates our commitment to the professional development of our team and brings us closer to achieving the objectives of our Training Partnership Agreement with the CIOB.”
