PENDINE TOURISM ATTRACTOR PROJECT

The Pendine Tourism Attractor Project involves the development of high quality, year round visitor destination facilities that will aim to maximise Pendine’s heritage to drive forward the resorts future economic regeneration. The attraction will contain three individual, but complimentary projects:

Sands of Speed Museum – exhibition space for displaying motor cars and associated land speed memorabilia, collection store, retail shop, entrance lobby and events room. BREEAM ‘Very Good’.

Eco Hostel – 42-bed resort offering an alternative accommodation experience with a range of innovative features to reduce the impact on the environment. Passivhaus Certification.

External Enhancement & Event Facilities – 82 space carpark, outdoor events area and exhibition esplanade, adventure playground and events storage building.

The existing Museum of Speed is being demolished to make way for this new development which will take place over several build phases. The area will remain open to the public on a seasonal basis.
