WEAVERS ARMS RESIDENTIAL, WELLINGTON

The project comprised the demolition of the existing derelict Weavers Arms public house and 10 no. existing council houses and the design and construction of 26 new affordable dwellings.

The development comprises a mixture of flats, houses and bungalows and included all associated asbestos removal, demolitions and external works.

The site was located near to the edge of the town of Wellington in a village called Rockwell Green adjacent to existing residential dwellings. The scheme was carefully designed to reflect the existing character of Rockwell Green and provides much needed high quality housing in a key location for the Local Authority.

The scheme was designed and constructed to achieve Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4.
