WRW has been shortlisted in Construction Company and SME of the Year categories for the Constructing Excellence in Wales and Insider Wales Property Awards 2017.
The Constructing Excellence in Wales awards are recognised across the Welsh built environment as the biggest and brightest celebration of best practice in Wales. SMEs are the backbone of the industry and are recognised by Constructing Excellence for their dominance of and contribution to the supply chain.
Judges for the Insider Wales Property Awards were influenced by statements provided in an initial entry submission and by their personal knowledge of the property industry. WRW were recognised for showing business success, willingness to innovate and contribution to the success of projects in the year April 2016 to March 2017.
WRW wanted to promote their growth over the past year which has seen an increased turnover, a new office in Bristol and a commitment to staff through maintaining Investors in People accreditation. The new office in Bristol comes off the back of notable project wins in South West England during the past 12 months which include the £6.5m Milner Centre for Evolution at the University of Bath, a £15m Apartment Development at Lakeshore and a £7.5m Mercure Hotel in Bridgwater.
WRW are proud to make it to this stage demonstrating that its planned progression across Wales and the South West of England is well on track.
Winners will be announced at award ceremonies on 29th June and 14th July. The winners from each region of the CEW Awards will go forward to a national final that will take place in London during autumn 2017 offering an opportunity to achieve acclaim on a truly national level.
