YSGOL MAES Y MORFA

The project involved the remodelling, refurbishment and extension of Morfa Junior School to provide a new all age Community Primary School with integrated children’s centre (ICC).

The remodelling involved the retention of the existing school and the construction of a modern new building based within the centre quadrangle of the old school.

This included purpose made classrooms and facilities. Other facilities included independent entrance receptions for juniors and ICC, kitchen and dining hall, ICT suite, classrooms incorporating WC’s, libraries, nursery centre, staff and administration areas, SEN facilities.

External works included a new entrance onto the highway, visitor and staff car park, hard and soft play
areas, ‘Growing’ Garden, play equipment, drainage works, landscaping and MUGA.
