This project involved the design and construction of a new 4* Hotel in Bridgwater for the Mercure Hotel chain.
The 4* Hotel forms the first part of a wider regeneration plan for the area and works involved the demolition of three existing buildings to make way for this new mixed-use development.
The hotel comprises 103 guest bedrooms over 4-storeys together with a bar, restaurant, gym, and two ground floor retail units. The facility also houses a Marco Pierre White Restaurant.
The new building structure utilises a Metframe pre-panelised system with reinforced concrete composite floors to ground level and reinforced concrete composite metal deck suspended floors to upper levels. The building also consists of galvanised steel roof, pre-fabricated steel stairs, and coloured render facade.
